WALTON NAMED PLATINUM SCHOOL

Walton High School has been named one of sixteen Platinum Level Award winners for the 2008-2009 school year by the Governor's office. This honor is awarded to schools who have made AYP for three consecutive years, had at least 35% or more students to exceed standards on state assessments, and had at least 98% of students meet or exceed standards on state assessments.
