    Congratulations to the 2017-18 Ambassadors!  There will be a MANDATORY meeting on Tuesday, May 16th in the Theater.  For your convenience, we are offering 2 sessions and you may choose one to attend.  You may come to the morning session at 7:30-8:00 am or the afternoon session from 3:40 - 4:10 pm.  Attendance will be taken promptly at the start of each session. 

    If you served as an Ambassador this school year or in a prior school year, you are eligible to apply for an officer position for the 2017-2018 year.  Officer Applications are due Friday, May 19th at 1pm.


    The Walton Ambassador Program (WAP) is designed to help make Walton a friendly place and foster a smooth transition for new students - especially our ninth graders.  We are currently starting the selection process for Walton Ambassadors for the 2017-18 school year.  The Ambassador program is open to Walton students who are currently in 9th - 11th grade in good standing with a 2.0 GPA or higher. 

    We are looking for a diverse group of students with excellent character traits who will be outstanding role models at Walton and in the community.  Walton Ambassadors participate in Orientation and meet weekly with ninth grade Home Rooms throughout the school year.  To be considered for a position as an Ambassador, students must be available to attend training, planning and orientation sessions starting on Tuesday, July 26, 2017.   

    Students should submit a completed application no later than Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 3:45 pm. In the event that we must make a choice between applicants with similar characteristics, priority will be given to the application received first.  No late applications will be accepted.
