    Free tutoring by the National Spanish Honor Society

    As a society, we offer Spanish tutoring during the first half hour of each lunch period (not WEBs).  Please go directly to the room listed for your lunch period.  At the end of the session, the teacher will give you a pass to go to the dining hall for lunch!

                             3rd period:  Sra. Cox, room 208

                             4th period:  Sra. Haehnel, room 210

                             5th period:  Sra. Diaz, room 211

    The tutors will also be available on Friday mornings at 7:30 in Sra. Cox's room 208.

    La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica

     This Spanish National Honor Society was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 1953 for the students of North American secondary schools. This Chapter is due to the efforts of Beverly Gasgoine of Walton High School who established it on April 30, 1996. The name of this Chapter is Rosalía de Castro. Our motto is “All together.” Our colors are red and gold. Our insignia and seal are those of the mother association.

     

    Esta Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica fue fundada por la Asociación Americana de Maestros de español y portugués en 1953 para los estudiantes de las escuelas secundarias norteamericanas. Este capítulo se debe a los esfuerzos de la Profesora Beverly Gasgoine de Walton High School que lo estableció en 30 de abril de 1996. El nombre de este capítulo es Rosalía de Castro. Nuestro lema es "Todos a una." Nuestros colores son el rojo y el oro. Nuestra insignia y nuestro sello son los de la madre asociación.
