COMMENCEMENT TICKET INFORMATION
Kennesaw State University now requires that an individually numbered and barcoded ticket be presented by each guest for admission to the Convocation Center. To comply with this requirement, the Cobb County School District has implemented a new procedure for allocating commencement tickets.
Guest tickets for commencement will be requested online by the graduate via the Student Portal. The graduate will request the number of tickets desired for their guests. However, the graduate is not guaranteed the number requested. Graduates and parents/guardians should discuss the number of tickets the graduate should request for the family.
The school will provide instructions to access the Student Portal. The Student Portal will open on Monday, March 6, for ticket requests by graduates. Graduates who do not submit a request will receive 2 tickets. The deadline for requesting tickets will be Friday, March 24. Once tickets are allocated, graduates and parents/guardians will be notified that the number of tickets granted may be viewed in the Student Portal.
Each guest ticket for schools with a ceremony at Kennesaw State University will have a unique barcode and will be valid only for the ceremony, date, and time shown on the ticket. Lost or damaged tickets cannot be replaced. Once a ticket is scanned for entry to the venue, it is no longer valid and cannot be re-used for further entry or re-entry.

The order form for tributes will be available on the Jostens web site beginning July 1, by going to www.jostens.com/yearbookads. The forms, pictures, and checks for tributes will not be accepted at Walton. You can create and pay for your tribute online at Jostens. The final deadline for tribute ads is October 14th.
Seniors may submit a formal, casual, and baby picture for the yearbook. Please follow the steps outlined below to make sure your pictures are included in the book. Formal, casual, and baby photos are due by October 1st.
Photos may be submitted either by the student using a private photographer or by using Walton’s official school photographer, Legacy. They must be professional photos to be included in the formal section. We prefer that you use Legacy for the formal picture. If you use Legacy, the cost is $10 to take the picture for the yearbook. You do not have to purchase pictures, and you can still use your private photographer for your own photos. If you use a private photographer, please ask the photographer to submit the picture to the yearbook by uploading the picture directly to the website given. To be included in the formal section, pictures must be taken in the traditional drape or tux with a blue background. Go to www.waltonyearbook.com and click on Senior Portraits at the top of the page. You will then be able to upload your student’s formal, casual, and baby pictures. Please do not submit a flash drive or a hard copy of the picture. Use this web site (www.waltonyearbook.com) to submit your pictures. Pictures cannot be accepted via email.
Legacy is our school photographer and will provide Walton with all student’s formal and/or casual photos for those who use their services. Legacy will be at Walton on in the upper rotunda to take senior photographs on June 6, 7, 8, and July 13, 20, 21. Appointments will start at 9am. You may choose to have casual pictures taken by a photographer of your choice or Legacy. Please ask them to turn in the pictures directly to Walton via the methods described above at www.waltonyearbook.com, then click on Senior Portraits at the top of the page.
Baby pictures should be uploaded directly to the yearbook at www.waltonyearbook.com, using the instructions above. The baby picture will NOT be included in the yearbook if the student does not also submit a casual picture.
