  1. During the days of final examinations, each student should make every effort to be fully prepared.

  1. On Wednesday, parents may provide transportation after their students’ last exam. The students who remain on campus will complete this form and report to their appropriate classes. Disciplinary action will be taken against students who violate school procedures. On Thursday and Friday the buses will run at 11:30 instead of 3:30. Teachers will not be available for tutoring these days and all students should ride the bus or be picked up by 12:00.

  1. Students who are released early must vacate the school campus immediately at the time designated and not return during that school day to any Cobb County school campus including other high schools, elementary, and middle schools.

  1. While a final exam is being administered to students in the classroom, students will not be allowed to use any personal electronic device without official school documentation for its use. Use of an unauthorized electronic device during testing will result in a zero on the test grade and a “U” in conduct.

  1. Students may not leave an exam early.

  1. If a student is on campus and does not have a final that period, he/she should report to the Dining Hall or Information Center.  No students should be in the halls when other students need a quiet atmosphere to complete their finals.

  1. Students are expected to return all textbooks for one semester courses before the end of the semester and pay for lost or damaged books. Payment must be in the exact amount by cash or check made payable to Walton High School. Payment for textbooks should be given to Mrs. Murray in the bookroom in the morning or in the front office in the afternoon. Any students who have lost or damaged textbooks or charges must clear them prior to receiving their textbooks next semester.

  1. Final exams will not be given early or at any time other than the regularly scheduled time for the exam. However, students who must be absent during the final exam schedule will be allowed to make up their exams within the first ten (10) days of the next semester. All work must be completed by Thursday, January 18, 2019.  Failure to do so could result in the student being ineligible for athletics.
