9th and 10th Grade PSAT Information:
The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered digitally at Walton High School on Wednesday, October 9, for all 9th and 10th grade students. The PSAT/NMSQT is a national standardized assessment that is used in several different ways. These scores help colleges form a clear picture of your student and their readiness for college, what your student is doing well in and what they should work on, as well as potential AP placement.
The PSAT/NMSQT is offered yearly to all 10th grade students free of charge, as testing fees are paid for by the state of Georgia. For the Fall 2024 administration, Walton High School's 9th grade students will automatically be registered for the PSAT/NMSQT, with the school covering the registration fee for those students.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Matthew Short at matthew.short@cobbk12.org. For more information about how your student can prepare for the PSAT/NMSQT, please visit the Preparing for the PSAT/NMSQT page, on the College Board website.
